Orange Chutney & Cheese Spread

Orange and Cumin Chutney & Cheddar Cheese Spread
 
If you want your house to smell amazing, making this orange and cumin chutney is your ticket; the added benefit is the snack that comes weeks after when the chutney is done setting.  The waiting was tough, but two weeks was required for proper cure time.  But because I forgot about the chutney, it took longer.
 
 
A fine hors d'oeuvre is created when mixing cream cheese, finely shredded cheddar cheese, and this lovely concoction of fruits, veggies, and spices.  I wasn't sure about the first bite as it was different, but different is good when it tastes like this.  Now to decide what to do with the other 2 1/2 pints.  Maybe pork chops, or salad...
